Sally, a headstrong, witty and very sarcastic human orphan, is beamed up and adopted by a species of kind and benevolent aliens called The Gwanians, who live on the peaceful planet of Gwan and adore humans. Initially, Sally resists her new life, believing she’d be better off on Earth with a human family. However, she gradually overcomes her biases and embraces her role as a cherished family pet. As Sally builds a relationship with her shy, quirky human obsessed alien sister, she uncovers secrets about her past that affect not only Earth and Gwan but the entire universe. The series explores the meaning of family and friendship, reminding us that healthy relationships are not about blood, but about how people treat you. Sally’s journey from a friendless orphan to protector of her new family and world demonstrates the importance of self discovery, and that kindness prevails over greed and power.

Europa
Sally’s adopted Gwanian sister and the only child of their parents, begins as a shy, quirky girl obsessed with humans. Under Sally’s influence, Europa transforms the social dynamic at her school, eventually becoming the most popular girl. This creates plenty of comedic moments as Europa tries to balance staying true to herself while navigating her increasingly complicated social life.
Rex
begins as an antagonist and Sally’s nemesis. He distrusts the Gwanians and believes humans should always be in control. Rex and Sally clash frequently due to their strong personalities, but over time, they discover they have more in common than they thought. Secretly, Rex is the adopted human of Quasar Reeve, one of the series’ villains, which causes him to stray toward darker paths, however, his growing feelings for Sally eventually lead him toward redemption.
Monique
Sally’s human neighbor on Gwan. Originally from South Africa, Monique harbors anti-Earth sentiments due to her difficult childhood before being rescued by the Gwanians. She and Sally become close friends and embark on many adventures together. Initially fearful and anxious, Monique is inspired by Sally’s bravery and learns to take action to protect both Gwanians and humans.
